Allison and Kimberly — two friends, two names that become one — came in with a brand idea and the will to make it real. We designed The Madre, a collection that portrays Miami as a woman: tropical by birth, subtropical by right. The palette was born from the earth — sand, coffee, chocolate, volcanic black — and the tailoring was worked with patience, piece by piece, until each one fit the way it had to. It was my first end-to-end project, and it still moves me that the collection speaks, without saying it, about the bond between the two of them.

My role — Initial consulting, collection concept, design, tailoring and creative direction of campaign.
